When to visit the USA

The simple answer is that the USA is great all year round and when you visit totally depends on what type of trip you're after. In case you hadn't noticed, the USA is pretty darn big so the weather can vary quite a bit from state to state. In winter time (generally November - March), parts of the US are covered in a thick layer of powdery white snow - perfect for winter sports lovers. In summer time, the Florida and California coasts come alive - you'll find endless stretches of sandy beaches to kick back and relax on. Prices tend to be highest during the school summer vacation (July/August) - travel during off peak times and you'll be sure to bag yourself a sweet deal or two.

How to get there

Getting to the USA is pretty easy, with regular flights to and from most major airports. Return fares, one-ways, student name, we got it! Find amazing fares to the USA from $829 return!

The cobblestoned birthplace of modern America and high-brow home of Harvard, Boston is pure old-world glamour (well, America's not actually THAT old). When you're finished walking the historic Freedom Trail, done trying to appear scholarly in Harvard Square and finally traced your ancestry to a pint of Guinness in Irish South Boston, it's also home to the Red Sox, Sam Adams and Dunkin' Donuts.
