Day 1 Adelaide / Kangaroo Island / Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery / Seal Bay / Vivonne Bay Beach

Leave Adelaide behind and relax on a scenic coach trip through Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis where you'll board a ferry across Backstairs Passage to Kangaroo Island (approximately 45 minutes). Pass through Rob's Shearing and Pennington Bay on the way to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, the only commercial eucalyptus distillery in South Australia! Next, it's the stunning Seal Bay - a wild breeding colony of rare Australian sea lions, it's an adorable sight to see. At Little Sahara traipse around the huge sand dunes and test your balance with a session of sandboarding and the fun doesn't stop there! At Vivonne Bay Lodge, you will have the opportunity to spend some time kayaking on Harriet river, swimming at Vivonne Bay Beach, walking, or trail bike riding - there's all sorts of fun to be had before & after your BBQ Dinner! As darkness falls, see kangaroos, Tamar wallabies and possums before heading to Point Ellen to spot adorable little penguins. Back at the camp, spend the evening kicking back on the deck with a glass of wine before heading to bed.

Day 2 Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary / Flinders Chase National Park / Cape Du Couedic / Stokes Bay / Adelaide

After breakfast, get up close to more wildlife at Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary - with koalas nestled up in the eucalypts and kangaroos grazing on the open fields, there's something to see at every turn. Continue on to Flinders Chase National Park to marvel at the Remarkable Rocks, precariously balanced granite boulders covered in golden orange lichen, and enjoy the spectacular coast and seascapes as you head around to Admirals Arch at Dape Du Couedic. Watch resident New Zealand fur seals frolic in the ocean or soak up the sun on the rocks before enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch at the Flinders Chase Visitor Centre. Next, head to the beautiful and secluded secret beach of Stokes Bay to take a walk around Ironstone Hill to find wallabies and admire the spectacular views of the mainland. Make the most of it as you're then heading back to Adelaide (keep in mind you can catch a flight from Kingscote Airport), where this journey ends.
