Day 1 London to Paris, France |
| Day 2 Paris A free day to explore the shops, cafes and museums and don't forget our Paris Gourmet Picnic beside the Eiffel Tower. Bx1, Dx1 |
| Day 3 - 4 Paris to Swiss Alps, Switzerland Across the border to the knockout scenery of Switzerland. Speaking of knockouts, how good is our mountain hideaway at Mt Rigi? A cable car or train ride up the mountain takes us to our traffic free village where the most noise you will hear is the jangling of cow bells! The setting of our alpine barbecue here is special and the walks are unreal! Bx2, Dx2 |
| Day 5 - 6 Swiss Alps to Florence, Italy Grab a snap at the Leaning Tower Pisa before we head through the Tuscan countryside to Florence. We start the next day with a walking tour with a local guide to discover this beautiful city. We then take time out to visit a Chianti winery and enjoy an al fresco dinner of local delights. | Day 7 - 8 Florence to Rome Today it's on to the buzzing city of Rome where the ancient and modern sit side by side. Our walking tour includes the main sights and there is a chance to visit the Vatican City the next morning to see some of the finest works of art in the world in the Sistine Chapel. | Day 9 - 10 Rome to Venice We stop at Verona, setting of Romeo and Juliet, before arriving in Venice. Our walking tour takes in St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge and our vaporetto ride on the Grand Canal is a great way to see this city. An optional gondola ride is really a must do! Bx2, Dx1 |
| Day 11 Venice to Tyrol, Austria Breathtaking scenery and loads of options for adrenaline junkies in the stunning Tyrol. Relaxing options are also available. Bx1, Dx1 |
| Day 12 - 13 Tyrol to Prague, Czech Republic We visit Mauthausen, the former concentration camp, then on the beautiful city of Prague. Our afternoon walking tour takes us to Charles Bridge, Hradcany Castle, the old Jewish Quarter and Wencelas Square. The next day is free to explore Prague. Bx2, Dx1 |
| Day 14 - 15 Prague to Berlin, Germany First up today is 800 year old Dresden, then the buzzing capital of Germany awaits. The sights and Museums help give us an understanding of the history, including The Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate. The nightlife is awesome too! Bx2, Dx1 |
| Day 16 - 17 Berlin to Amsterdam, Netherlands The city where clogs, bicycles and the red light district create a unique atmosphere. See the city on our bike and walking tours and then explore, chill out or party - or may be do all three! Bx2, Dx1 |
| Day 18 Amsterdam to London After stopping off at the Belgian city of Brugge to sample some chocolate and beer, our trip finishes this evening back in London. Bx1 |
