Lost or stolen flight ticket
It happens to everyone - you have no idea where you put your ticket or you put it in such a safe place that you can't find it (or worse, it's been taken with your stuff). No worries. Take a deep breath and relax. We'll do our best to help you out.
If you have lost your ticket, don't despair! It happens to the best of us. Just follow the instructions below depending on your type of ticket and you'll be back on track in no time.

| E-tickets are electronic versions of standard tickets. E-tickets, by their nature, cannot be lost. If you have misplaced your printed itinerary, simply find your final itinerary emailed to your by STA Travel and reprint! |

If you have lost your STA paper ticket prior to departure, contact your booking branch to get it reissued (a fee will apply).

| Unfortunately we can only offer help the reissue of e-tickets and STA Travel paper tickets once you've started travelling. If you have lost your paper ticket prior to departure, contact your STA Travel booking branch (their details can be found on your receipt). However once you've started travelling, paper tickets can only be reissued by the airline that you are travelling with, therefore you will need to contact the local airline office of the country that you are currently in. We suggest that you use an internet search engine to find the website of the relevant airline and obtain local contact details. |
IMPORTANT NOTICE
In some cases it may not be possible to reissue your ticket. In this case it will be necessary for you to purchase a new ticket at your own expense to enable you to travel.
Depending on the circumstances surrounding the loss of your ticket (e.g theft) it may be possible for you to claim against your travel insurance for the cost of the replacement or the cost of the original. Please see the details of your individual insurance policy for more information and guidance on the cover available to you and any official or supporting documentation you may need to obtain before you undertake your flight.
Please note both STA Travel and the airline will charge fees for re-issueing any tickets.
