The Korea rail pass is specifically designed for travellers and can only be booked outside of South Korea. Passes are available in 3 different categories. The Normal Pass is a regular pass for adults and children aged between four and twelve years. The Saver Pass is one pass which can be used by two to five people in a group travelling together at all times. The Youth Pass is the pass for youth and students aged between 13 and 25 or those holding a valid International Student Identification Card (ISIC) or International Youth Travel Card (IYTC).

*Please note that the Korea Rail Pass (Korail) is for consecutive days travel only. Small child under the age of 4 is charge-free, and child of age 4 - 12 is charged with 50% of adult fare. For children and youth passes, passenger age is based on the date that the STA Travel voucher is exchanged for the Korea Rail pass - NOT on the date of initial purchase.
