This hostel was extremely overpriced. The rooms were dirty and the staff made no attempt to assist when we complained about the facilities not working. There no way to open the window and the breakfasts were terrible (served by unhappy staff). The location was quite good, close to metro.
I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. Do not waste your money!

It is a great place to stay when its your first time traveling to Paris. It is close to the sub-way and the some of the staff know enough English to help you around. For someone who isn't going to spend a lot of time in their rooms, it is a nice cheap place to stay.
Nice location, friendly staff

It was my first experience in staying in hostel though I can't compare it with something else, but I liked it. In short, friendly staff, free Inet, towels were changed every day, great location, breakfast included, safe place. Beds were a bit unsteady, I was afraid to sleep on the upper bed first night, but nevertheless it was fine. One more thing, our bathroom didn't close, great that I found common language with my roommates.

Best things would be location - very close to Republique station which will take you all over Paris. Staff were very cool too, very accommodating and always happy to help, English was pretty good too. Also free internet downstairs was very handy. Only downside is the place has very old decor etc. The ceilings in our room (private double room with ensuite) was very low (im 5"11 and almost touched) and the shower was seriously tiny. But, as I said, unless your a yuppy, its fine. We just needed somewhere to crash in the night after seeing massive Paris for 4 days. Served the purpose.

1. The people who were staying at the hostel.
2. The atmosphere of the hostel and the surrounding area at night.
Overall, a great budget choice!

Welcoming english speaking staff from our arrival with endless helpful advice! Stayed in small cute double room with french windows. Basic bathroom, very basic breakfast in ordinary dining room, no decent communal sitting area. Not in the nicest area, but very close to good metro stations and felt safe walking around at night. Free internet!

This was our favourite hotel that we stayed in whilst we were in Europe. It is a really old building - the stairs are wonky and the lift is a bit dodgy even when there is just one of you in it! We were on the very top floor, our room was so cute. It was decorated really nice with exposed beams and a window that looked out onto the street that we could open right out. The bathroom was small but the shower was great. It wasnt perfectly clean, but was cleaned everyday with new sheets and towels. The breakfast wasn't the best, cereal and a croissant, but the location made it everything. Right across the street from the metro meant we could get anywhere in paris whenever we wanted. The hotel staff were so helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we could navigate ourselves around the city. It was so easy to get back to after a huge day seeing the sites, there is a shop across the street with everything you could need and a resteraunt next door. It was perfect for us, and we would definatley go back there. Overall staying here definatley made our trip to Paris alot easier!

bei einem Doppelzimmerpreis von 100 Euro müssten Polster und Teller beim Frühstück schon drinnen sein.Lage ist gut, aber Preis viel zu hoch.
